Learn A Less Expensive Way To Fund Your Capital Projects
I’m Kevin Pendergast, President of the O’Riley Institute. I founded this company in 2011 out of my passion for inspiring transformation and innovation for non-profit organizations. The O’Riley Institute focuses on alternative ways to fund capital projects, evaluate asset management allocations, and coach your staff towards success and sustainability.
An Income You Can Count On
At the O’Riley Institute, we offer a much more cost effective way to fund your capital projects or build your endowment and a more appealing option to offer your donors. We believe if you treat your donors like investors; you’ll earn their support for life. By utilizing these innovative concepts to raise funds for your organization, the O’Riley Institute will help you allocate your resources wisely so you can work smarter, not harder.
My extensive experience with financial institutions is the crux of my offering and expertise. Thus, we bring a thorough understanding of the tools available to provide valuable financial education and training to your organization as we
transform your capital funding approach to exceed your goals.
Innovation is key to an organization’s sustainability, but many non-profits are so bogged down in meeting their annual fund goals, thus focusing on transformational giving has fallen by the wayside. Through O’Riley Institute we offer an innovative approach to growing your endowment, engaging your donors
and assisting your organization in achieving its full potential.
Because of my background in fund development, I’m able to undertake most tasks required of a gift officer except setting the appointment. We strive to be with your staff every step of the way in implementing my strategies for
transformational growth in your organization.
Kevin Pendergast brings almost 30 years of cultivating fundraising relationships to the O’Riley Institute. After graduating from Lewis and Clark College, Kevin later received his MBA from the University of Oregon. Following a career in banking and as a stockbroker, Kevin ventured into the nonprofit world as Director of Planned Giving at Lewis and Clark College, then Vice President of Development for Cottage Grove Community Medical Center Foundation and subsequently Director of Development for University of Portland. In 1997, Kevin began a career in fundraising consulting, where he has since assisted medical centers, youth groups, arts organizations, social service agencies and educational institutions. The O’Riley Institute was founded in 2011 to better serve his clients needs. Kevin’s most treasured relationship is with his daughter Riley, for whom the O’Riley Institute is named.
